Born and brought up in India I am well versed with the sociocultural aspects of Indian society. I have grown up in a joint family with four generations living together. I have seen the different life phases very closely from early childhood. Being a graduate in Political science broadens my vision towards society. As a youth I was actively involved with various groups and activities including amateur dramatics, trekking, editorial team for magazine and social work. A degree in Law facilitated my counselling sessions in India.
My versatile profile in social sciences has given me deeper understanding of individual and social issues in Asian society. Travelling to different countries and understanding cultures, help me provide assistance in better ways. Currently staying in netherlands and working as an Indian counsellor in Europe, provides a cross cultural perspective to my work.
Working on seminars and research projects like surrogacy, gender issues, domestic violence and work life balance of corporate employees, broaden my vision towards the case based professional counselling.
Working with and helping people is my passion. As a good listener my working pattern is case based with holistic approach for counselling.
I assure safe, respected and encouraging environment to my clients.
Confidentiality is the ultimate motto.
